And now for only a few more sleeps...

So for the past year, Carson and I have been living with my parents. Since my life is back in order I knew it was the perfect time for us to move on. So this weekend we are getting our new house :)! We are beyond ecstatic. All of our belongings besides our basic essentials have been packed away, so I am beyond excited to unpack everything!!! It is going to be like Christmas having of my exciting kitchen gadgets and craft supplies back.

I decided on a three bedroom home. I knew that we would need the extra space even if it is just the two of us. We are used to having a VERY LARGE playroom, so it is going to be interesting!

I think with a little purging, and lots of organization we can make a perfect space for Carson to enjoy on a daily basis. I am beyond thrilled that I will be able to give him his "own" space again!

Although I am ecstatic that Carson will have his own room and playroom again, I think I am more excited about getting my craft space back. Now I will admit, I have been extremely spoiled for years!

I have always had an awesome space for my crafting/sewing. This was from our last house. I was even able to create a spot for Carson to craft at the same time. I weighed out taking the smaller of the three bedrooms for my craft space but felt it was more important to me that Carson has a space to enjoy himself. However, this house has what they call a 2 1/2 car garage(since I have a smaller car it gives me a ton of room!). I have a HUGE space on the side of my garage that I will transform into my warm and inviting craft space. Stay tuned for pictures!!!

Fall is coming........

So now that I am a Mom, I look forward to the Fall soooo much! It means Halloween is coming, and I get to come up with fun and creative Halloween Costumes!!! Well we all know Carson is my lil rockstar so last years KISS costume was very fitting. Well his other love is Basketball. This year we have decided on a Harlem Globetrotter costume(it will look similar to the pic below however jazzed up a bit of course). I am so excited to go shopping this week for fabrics and to get started soon, as we all know time tends to creep up on us! Stay tuned for pictures!!! I am so excited!

Finally bitten by the crafting bug, AGAIN!

It is about time! The last year of my life has been a whirlwind. Almost like someone picked up my life, turned it upside down, and shook it(LOL!)! I am now a busy single Mom so I haven't had much time for my love of crafts, especially sewing. I have made a few gifts here and there, stockings, and a few quilts but I have finally been bit by the crafting bug again and I am sucked back in! I am hoping that in a few weeks we will be moving into a new home, and I am itching to get all of my crafting supplies out of storage(all 100 plus boxes haha, yes I may be exaggerating a little). My cabinet and sewing table have collected tons of dust and I am ready to wipe them clean, and start working on some patterns hopefully to release on the market for sale! I will keep you all posted on that! Since I have a lot to catch up on from the past year, I thought I would post lots of pictures for you to enjoy! I cannot wait to get back to blogging so stay tuned!

Hey Guys! Welsome to my new blog! I decided to start this blog because this year I gave up on the online business scene! It was too much stress with everything else going on in my life. I absolutely love to be creative however, so obviously I have not stopped Sewing/Crafting!

My New Years Resolution was to take my Hobby back and have a blast with it again! I re-organized my Sewing Space! I will post pictures this week(once I clean it up, since my son ransacked the place lol). I finally got started on Projects that I wanted to make; like my new Amy Butler Diaper bag- YIPEE!!! I have also been making lots of Baby Shower gifts for several girlfriends and a New Baby Niece that is arriving in March yay! I have also cleaned out my Stash and am working on a great scrap quilt for Baby Ella to play on! Also, I donated tons of fabirc to a local charity that makes quilts and clothing for our local Dress a Child :)!

My latest gig, is getting ready for my sisters Baby Shower that I am throwing next week(Friday)! I am making Pink napkins and lots of fun accessories. The theme is "All Because Two People Fell In Love" of course inspired by Valentines Day :)! I have lots of fun simple ideas to dress up a table, and throw a rockin Baby Shower! I will post them this upcoming week!

I have also been doing lots of art projects with Carson(my one year old)! I know many of you are Mommy's out there, so I will let you in on some of our fun ideas too!!!
